I have been having fun taking photos of these boys. They are too cute! Although you will notice there are not very many of cael actually facing the camera...but he still looks so cute...and who would have known Logan would have turned out to be such a model! Love these boys! Hopefully I'll get better at it and you will see more to come!

Only a matter of Time!

Well at approximately 5:30pm yesterday afternoon, my oldest son Logan decided that he wanted to jump from couch to couch. Little did he know that this would result in a trip and a fall head first off of the top of our leather chair right onto the ground. Luckily he didn't land on his head but unfortunately broke that fall with his left arm and as a result broke both the radius and the ulna bones in his forearm causing for his forearm to literally bend sideways! Let me tell you it was not pretty and I think mommy was more worried than Logan was! He didn't even cry and was holding his little bent arm as we drove to the hospital. Once we got there we went in and they did I.V. and x-rays and then he fell asleep for the next hour and a half while we waited for the procedure to be done. Yes, I said procedure! They had to put Logan out. So they had us stay with him until they put him under. It was so quick, it literally took 30 sec for the anesthetics to kick in. It burned and he started to cry and then he was out! So while we left, they set his arm back into place and splinted it up. When we came back in and he was just waking up and the first thing he says to us is "So since I was so brave I get an orange soda and phineas and ferb toys" It was hilarious. Our little trooper didn't even let it phase him! He is so tough!

The next day we went to see the orthopedic and he said that since both broken bones were broken upwards and they were not broken all the way, since the E.R. doctor set the bone very well and the fact that he was so healthy he wasn't going to have to have surgery! Thank goodness! So he just had to get a full arm cast and has to have it on for 3 weeks! Talk about a bad situation turning out slightly better! Well it's been awhile! We have been so busy that I have not found a moment to sit down and blog about it! So finally with this short breather....here it is!

We've had weddings, beach days, hikes, playing with cousins, birthdays and so much more.... it was a fun summer and we are excited for fall and hopefully I will be a lot better about posting!

My cousin Diana got married in June of this year. It was a beautiful wedding. They were married in the L.A. Temple and we were able to get some fun, quirky pics of the family. It was a long day for Cael and Logan, but boy did they look cute! Also, for her wedding I had made cupcakes. I'll have to post pics later but they were a hit and were totally cute!

We went to Disneyland and then to the Aquarium of the Pacific with my Mom, Brother's, Bradley's girlfriend Alix and Kierra. It was a lot of fun. The kids of course had a blast on all of the rides. And at the Aquarium Cael just loved all the fish. When we went into the bird cage we got some of the nectar to carry and they birds swarmed us like crazy! My brother bradley had like six birds on him at once. Bobby also had a bunch follow him! But let me tell you I was terrified in there....those birds like to dive bomb right by your head! I thought for sure one was gonna get me! It was a fun time and since then we have been back to Disneyland several times in which some of Logan's accomplishments are Space Mountain, Star Tours, Goofy's sky school, Splash Mountain and the Tower of Terror. All of which he claims to like! We'll see if we can get him to go on again. I'll post more pics from that day...ride pics and all!

We have been hiking so much. We really enjoy it. We would do corriganville a bunch and decided to broaden our areas to hike. So we ventured over to a hiking spot in T.O. at the end of Avenida de los Arboles. It is beautiful, and at the end there is a waterfall and through the walk you cross over several small rivers. Although it is like a 3 mile hike the end makes it worth it! We were so proud of Logan because he walked the entire thing and didn't complain once!

We have also been making trips to different kids places and museums. Here are some pics from when we went to the Science Center down in L.A. The boys had a blast with all the different things to do. It doesn't hurt that its free either!

We have had fun doing different activities with Taylor, Corrine and Nikki and on the occasion Grandma Pollard. Here are some pics when we went to the Skirball Museum to see the Noah's Ark exhibit, which is totally neat and a definite must see (Thanks Aunt Nikki!). Also we went to Ventura beach and the Ventura Harbor where the kids rode the merry go round, had ice cream and took pictures in the picture boards. Aren't they cute!

Our littlest baby brother also graduate in June. We attended that and go a great pic of all of us together!

Logan also did T-ball class. He enjoyed it a lot. I think that we may have a sports kid on our hands...like mommy and daddy!

We also had birthdays! Logan turned four all the way back in April....yes all the way back then! He had a pirate themed birthday in which the kids jumped and played in the bouncy island, decorated there pirate flags, wore bandanas, hunted for the pirate treasure and all got wooded swords and pistols (yes, pistols..ha ha) courtesy of Grandpa Pollard. It was a fun time and Logan got a lot of wonderful presents! He has already started preparing me for his next birthday party!

Cael turned 1 in June. We had a small party for him with just family. We ate some BBQ, had some cake and went swimming. Cael was a little unsure of all the attention and when we put the cake in front of him proceeded to wail and scream! Finally he stared diggin into the cake! He got a lot of wonderful presents and looked so darn cute in that party hat!

Well this summer we did a lot of beach trips. It could possibly be because I have a husband who is a surfer but we also just love to hang out! The boys love it and enjoy the water. In this particular trip Logan was running through the water and fell just as a wave came and went over his head and he got up soaked and laughing! I love the pic of bobby and logan...surfer in training!!

Here are the many faces of Cael! He is such a funny kid! He is super energetic and will do what he has to, to get what he wants. He has an infectious smile and giggle. And those deep, big blue eyes are just too cute to say no to! He also loves to put sunglasses on and copy his gorgeous, sweet older brother. He is a water baby just like his brother and is discovering new things everyday!

I had to post these pics cuz these kids are crazy! I took these as they were jumping on Ma and Pa's bed! What a bunch of wackos!

These pics are from 4th of July. We went swimming during the day at my mom's and had a BBQ. Bobby's parents and his Uncle Jeff, Aunt Char and their kids Bella, Bennett and Ruby came over to play too. After a few fireworks of our own, we all headed over to the church to hang out and enjoyed the huge fireworks that the parks and rec put off right behind the church. Talk about front row seat! It was Cael's first time and he loved it just as much as Logan! It was a good time and we enjoyed hanging out with family!

Here are just some miscellaneous pics that I randomly threw together of all of us. I have a bunch of goof ball boys who like to do some funny things! So far this year we have had a last together and look forward to much more!

We have been making a storm of cookies and fudge and goodies. The boys have been enjoying the fun! As you can see in the pictures! Logan enjoyed pouring all the sprinkles in the bottle out onto the cookies as you can see the snowman cookie had no chance! Also getting into the spirit of christmas....logan had his Christmas program and party at preschool it was sooooo cute...and of course I forgot my camera!! The kids sang all sorts of Christmas songs and to make things politically correct also sang Hannuaka and kwanza songs!!! They also did a gift exchange and had made hand print ornaments that they painted and put their pictures on...it was too cute!!! Now I know why Logan was singing Christmas, Kwanza, and Hannauka songs all week!!

Baby Cael

Cael is getting so big so fast....he is almost 6 months old!!! AAHH!!! He goos and gaas all day long and has started saying dada...he rolls all over the place and is on the verge of crawling...right now he scoots backwards (not quite the gimp crawl like logan!) He can sit up on his own and grabs everything and then puts it in his mouth. He loves his brother Logan and when ever he hears his voice he starts smiling! Its too cute! I took him to the doctors and his stats were:

Height: 26 inches
Head: not sure but the nurse said that it was big! (like his brother!)
Weight: 19lbs (my big boy!)

Temple Lights

So last weekend we went to the L.A. Temple Lights after a birthday dinner for my little brother Bradley who turned the big 18! Whoot Whoot! We went with my family and Bobby's parents...it was a fun time and the lights were beautiful as usual! It was Cael's first trip and of course he fell asleep and didn't wake up until we went in to see the new visitor's center....Logan and his cousin Kierra were all over the place and had a blast!

Dinning room makeover

Well now that we have moved into our home, we are discovering that there are so many projects to be done! We decided our first one would be our dinning room. We have decided we want to go with a beachy feel in our home. So this is what we came up with. The only thing that we have left to do would be I would like to add two more chairs to the table and we are going to put some bamboo flooring in...but other than that this is what it turned out to look like! We are excited!

I have such an amazing husband who painted, hung our light up and my curtains all in one day! Love him tons!

Parties & Halloween!

Halloween this year was lots of fun! We went to our new wards Halloween Party which was fun (even though Logan was terrified of Beetlejuice & Cael feel asleep!) They had chili and deserts and games.....and then the always exciting Trunk or Treat! Logan came away with lots of candy!

On Halloween that evening we decided to do a little Trick or Treating because it was our new neighborhood.....we had my family over and Bobby's mom came and joined the fun! My niece kierra was a pirate and Logan and Cael were skeletons. We decorated our new home with the little decorations that we have....I think it turned out quit nice! Then we all went trick or treating and we managed to get a nice family picture out of it!

Pumpkins and Parades!

Oh the Holidays! Logan has been going to preschool and last Wednesday was their field trip to the pumpkin patch! Logan had so much fun with all the kids.....they did the tractor ride....got a pumpkin....saw all the animals and had some snacks! There was a incredibly huge tractor their that they tuned into a slide which every kid loved. We also took a shot in front of one of the John Deere tractors just for Pa! Cael had a good time too!!! And was an awesome sport!

Also that friday was Logan's preschool Halloween party and Costume Parade! It was too cute! All the kids looked so adorable...there were two cowboys....two skeletons...two iron mans.....and a million princesses! I also took video of it cuz they had some fun Halloween music to it.....Logan is the little cute skeleton with the mask!!!

Here are some photos of Cael. He is getting so big so fast!!! He is pretty much rolling over and sometimes it looks like he is trying to start crawling! He is too strong! He also loves to stand up and can practically sit up on his own...its crazy. He loves the exersaucer and has figured out how to press the animals so they make noise...and he gets a kick out of it! Below is a video of Cael gut laughing. Grandma Pollard started making faces at him and making funny noises and he just thought it was the funniest thing ever...it is too cute!

Precious Moments

Oh the precious moments that we manage to catch. This particular one happened on Sunday. We went over to Bobby's grandparents (or Ma and Pa's) house for dinner and i had to go into the other room to do something and so I asked Pa to hold Cael. As I came back in I saw the two of them sitting together and Cael kept looking at Pa and laughing and giggling and was so content to sit there until we left. It was the cutest thing ever. Thank goodness for phone cameras!

So I was looking at Cael today and I thought to myself, "Are you really my child?!" He has such a fair complection, has light brown hair, and has blue eyes! I decided to go back and look at some pictures of Logan at the same age and compare because when you look at them together now they don't look related. Logan is so tan and has brown hair and brown eyes. Well when I compare they look at lot more a like when I compare them at the same age....Cael just has lighter features. But they both have Bobby's eyes, brow and chin...so I guess that makes them look more alike! I'm anxious to see what Cael will look like a little further in the future.....Below are the pics....

A few days ago we took Cael swimming for the first time. He loved it! He would smile and make cooing noises. He also would kick his feet and splash his hands. It was too cute! Logan is almost swimming without floaties! He has been teaching himself! Next step, SURFING! Looks like we have two water babies! School, Weddings and Tons of Love!

Yesterday Logan had his first day of Preschool Camp. It is an Under the Sea theme. So far he is having so much fun and can't wait to go back. This camp lasts this week and then he has 4 weeks until actual Preschool starts. I can't believe how big my baby is getting (and handsome....I better watch out for those preschool girls!)

On Saturday my cousin Michelle got married out in Pasadena. I went with my Mom and brought along Cael for the ride. Let me tell you he was a trooper and was so good. Especially since the ceremony was a full Catholic mass. It went about an hour and a half! And not a peep out of him! Then was the reception and he was all smiles. I couldn't believe how happy he was! I took this shot while sitting at the table. Its so cute and funny!

I just love this shot! The other day Logan asked if he could hold Cael and Bobby caught this picture of the two. It is too cute! Even though Cael looks a little frightened! ha ha

My funny Boys!

These are the many faces of Cael. Already at about a month he was smiling in response to a gooing and gagaing him! He is a very alert baby and is awake majority of the day and he is only 6 weeks, its crazy! He also makes some of the funniest faces. Almost like he is surprised...its hilarious!

And Logan...a bundle of joy! He cracks me up...he has energy for days and is very stubborn! But is a sweet boy. He has been into looking cool like daddy and wearing his hat backwards with sunglasses and building forts with daddy. Every time I take out the camera to take a picture of Cael, Logan always has to have a picture of him too. Its funny! Logan is such a sweetheart and always says that he loves Cael. Quick little story....

I was getting dressed and was in a hurry and Cael got hungry. So I put his little seat next to the bathroom so I could see him and propped a bottle up for him to eat. Well the bottle fell out and I heard him start to cry...then stop pretty quick. I look over and I see Logan there. He had gone and picked up the bottle and continued to feed Cael. I said to him "Thank you Logan" and He responded by saying "Your welcome Mommy", "I love Cael." It was too cute!

The many sleeping positions of Cael. This child has never liked being bundled up. He always wants to be sprawled out. And his favorite place to do this is on our bed. It is quite funny! But he can sleep for hours like that!

He is also so alert. The above pictures of him looking at the little toys above his head on the swing he is only about a month there and is already looking at things. It is crazy how alert he is. Another thing he likes to look at is the ceiling fan.

Cael is also really strong. When I put him on his tummy he practically can lift his little head all the way up. And he starts using his legs like he is gonna start crawling!

He is a big boy. I'm anxious to see how much he weighs at his 2 month appointment! He seriously eats like every hour and poos like no other child I have seen! Most people who see him think that he is at least three months old...but really hes only a month and a half!! Its crazy!

Beach Bums

We have been going to the beach this summer and let me tell you that Cael is a outdoor, beach bum, water baby just like Logan. He just chilled and hung out and never made a fuss it was wonderful! Logan as usual has fun playing with Daddy and climbing the rocks! I would say this is one of our favorite pass times!

It's Science Time!

A few weeks ago my friend Crystal and her son Andrew (who is the same age as Logan) went to the Science Center and the Natural History Museum down in L.A. It was a ton of fun and the boys had a blast together. Let me tell you the Science Center is way cool but swarming with little field trip children and is a mad house! At the Natural History Museum there was a show and it was a huge animatronic/puppet dinosaur! It was the coolest thing....it moved around like a dinosaur and it even roared really loud! So when the dinosaur came out I was regretting the fact that Logan's favorite movie was Jurassic Park because when that thing came out Logan started balling and was so scared. He thought that it was real and was going to eat him!! Since I was in the back with Cael, Crystal had to explain to Logan that it was a puppet in order to calm him down. (Not sure if he believed her!) So I guess when he watched Jurassic Park next time it will be a little scarier!

Here are some pics of the boys that I have taken recently. I can't believe how big both of them are getting so quickly!

So far Cael has been such a chill baby. He only cries when he is hungry or poops. He is awake for long periods of time and just sits around staring at everything. He is so alert at such an early age. When you hold him he will sit and stare at you almost like he is trying to figure you out. Right now he has beautiful blue eyes, so we'll see what color they end up being! Just like Logan, Cael looks so much like his daddy! He has the pollard boy chin and looks like he is also getting bobby's eyes and brow. Cael sleeps through majority of the night. The most he ever wakes up is twice a night and that is just to eat. Which is AWESOME! (Logan was colic and was up probably 4 or 5 times a night!) He loves bathes so i'm thinking he is like his daddy and brother and is going to love the water. We are so blessed to have such a cute, chill little boy!

Logan loves Cael so much. Every chance he gets he is trying to lay next to him, hold his hands, touch his feet, give him kisses or try to hold him. It is too cute. He was so excited when I was taking these pictures. And Cael just loves his big brother. Every time he hears logan start talking he is always trying to look in that direction to see him. So far having the two boys has been so great. I don't really have a complaint yet. I would say my transition to two is so far going smoothly. Thank goodness for that!!!

Well its swimming season again and Logan and Bobby's favorite time. Logan is getting a little more daring. We have been working with him and he can pretty much swim without his floaties now. A little more practice and he will be a pro in no time. He can swim from on edge of the pool to the other (width of the pool) and he enjoys jumping from the jacuzzi into the pool by himself (no fear). And as you can see why Logan has no fear of the water, if you look at the pictures above you can see that his daddy makes sure that he is not scared of anything!!! He gets him flying pretty high sometimes! Logan loves every minute of it!!!

Well here he is.....the long awaited Cael William Pollard!

Stats:

Date: June 22, 2010

Time: 1:38pm

Weight: 9lbs 5 oz! I know shocker(Logan was only 7lbs 9 oz!)

Height: 19 1/2 inches

Well his journey was quite interesting. So here it is.....

My original due date in the very beginning was June 21st, but after a later ultrasound the doctor changed my due date to June 14th, a week ahead. So it remained that date all the way up until June 14th (in which Cael had not come yet)when my doctor checked me and said "Yep, I'm thinking that the original date was your due date, so we'll wait another week and make an appointment on the 21st, if he is not here then we can induce the next day..." Yes I was a little heartbroken that I had to wait another week for our little guy to come, but what can you do.

So, a week goes by and no Cael, I'm 2cm dialated, so the doctor schedules me for induction the next morning at 6am. Bobby and I get there and its nice and quiet. They don't actually give me the pitocin until 7:30 that morning. Once they do that here comes the waiting game! So about 11 comes rolling around and I am feeling the contractions so I get an epidural (lifesaver!!!!). The nurse checks me and I am only dialated 4cm. So we continue to wait at about 12:30 I notice that I am feeling some pressure down there even with my epidural. So I tell the nurse and she checks me. I am 9cm dialated!!! In just an hour and a half and then by 1 I was the full 10cm and Cael's head was practically pushing its way out. They had just finished preparing for a c-section and had to postpone it temporarily because I dialated a lot faster than they thought. So I begin pushing at 1:15pm and I can not feel a thing! My epidural didn't have enough time to go down so I just started pushing without any feeling! At 1:38pm he came! And I didn't even feel it!! All of a sudden the doc just layed this baby on me and I was done! Talk about easy labor! The nurses took him over to the warming station and started getting him all clean. The nurse asked the doc how big he thought the baby was and he said maybe about 8lbs 5oz...she said guess again a whopping 9lbs 5 oz!!! He was their biggest baby of the day!!! They were shocked that such a big baby came out of me!

He is such a good and chill baby! We are all so excited he is here....especially Logan! He always wants to hold him and every once and a while he will come over without us telling him to and kiss Cael and say "I Love you, Cael" It is the cutest thing ever! We couldn't be happier!

Mother's Day

Mother's Day was a wonderful day. It started with waking up to my wonderful husband cooking me my favorite waffles with strawberries, strawberry syrup and whip cream! Yummy! Logan also enjoyed it very much so! Then it was off to church where it is always wonderful...despite my lacking capability of sitting comfortably for three hours now. Then we headed over to Bob and Diane's where Bobby, Garrett and Rueben prepared dinner for all of us. My mom and brother Bradley also came over to eat. Ma and Pa were also there too. It was a wonderful time and great food! Bradley finally go his tour of all of Bob's knives and guns (which he proceeded to take a thousand pics of!) Below are some shots that our dear friend Rueben took of the day.

A little too Quiet!

I don't know if this is him realizing that another baby is coming soon or it just looked like a relaxing place to lay! We recently brought the rocking chair, crib and bassinet out and I had noticed that it got a little too quiet. So I went looking for Logan and this is where I found him. All snuggled up in the bassinet. When I asked him what he was doing he replied "I'm the baby sleeping, this is Logans bed." Some other things he has done is...I will be sitting in the rocking chair and he will come to me with a blanket and say "You wanna rock the baby," and then proceeds to climb into my lap. I have also caught him climbing into the crib and saying that it was his bed and Cael can sleep in the big bed! Oh I can't wait to see how it will be when Cael gets here!!!! I am about 36 weeks (four weeks to go!) But I am so ready!!!! And it seems to be that Cael is too...He is head down and rearing to go! Hopefully he won't come out late!!!!

Aquarium of the Pacific

A little over a week ago on a friday that Bobby had off we decided to go down to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach. We hadn't been there in a while and thought that Logan would enjoy it. Little did we know that I would need a wheelchair by the end!!! It was a lot of walking around! We also walked a mile to go eat at Famous Dave's BBQ....which was so good. It was a wonderful day and we had so much fun!

Oh and don't laugh at the narly prego pics of me...I look enormous!

Cael's Baby Shower

My baby shower was a couple of weeks ago (I know...and I'm just now posting it). I didn't take very many pics on my camera so this is all I had. It was a wonderful time, my good friend Crystal and my mom threw it for me. Let me tell you the food was delicious (brunch) and the games were a lot of fun. I got so many wonderful things. I am all set to go for little Cael which is very comforting. Now I can relax for the last 4 weeks! Thank you everyone for all the wonderful gifts!

Long Night!

Well Monday night was an experience for our little family. Earlier that day I noticed that Logan had started coughing and getting a runny nose, so I had given him some benedryl thinking that it would help. Boy was I wrong! Later that night, he wouldn't eat and was feeling very hot. And I mean hot!!! He started with a fever of 101.9, which I was worried but thought it wasn't too bad. Bobby came and gave him a blessing and I noticed that he was able to sleep a little better. But, about an hour after he started getting warmer and almost hallucinating while he tried to sleep. I took his temperature again and it was 105.2! I thought that I must have done it wrong but when I tried again it said 104.9! So I got worried, of course we had no tylenol or motrin. So I woke Bobby up (it was about 11:30pm) and I said that we needed to take him to the hospital. So he called the hospital and they said to go ahead give him the tylenol and motrin and bring him in. So we packed up and headed to the pharmacy. While Bobby was in getting the medication, Logan threw up all over himself! So Bobby came out and we had to take Logan's jammies off and wrap Bobby's sweatshirt around him. Luckily we were 2 minutes from the hospital. So we got there and hadn't even been able to give him the medicine yet.

So they checked us in (it was about 12am) and gave Logan the tylenol and motrin. They took his temperature and it was still 104. (They had to take it the not so pleasant way twice! Poor Logan he was so tramatized!) SO we then had to wait and the doctor said that he wanted to take an x-ray of his chest to see what was causing the fever. Poor Logan was dosing on and off and was so tired. So finally we went and they took x-rays of his chest, while he screamed and cried in the process. After the doctor came back and told us that Logan had some pnuemonia and a slight case of croup!!! I felt so bad for the little man he was just miserable! So they gave him his first dose of antibiotics and gave us the prescription. After one last measuring of the temperature (which finally went down to 100.5) They sent us home. We ended up leaving the hospital at about 3:30am!!! Luckily Logan passed out in the car and ended up sleeping pretty well that night. He has been on the antibiotics and yesterday his fever slightly came back up, but after an hour went back down. Today he is feeling much better, he just has a bad cough and runny nose and is slightly fatigued. He is eating which is good!

Bobby and I had to giggle in the end and thought well I guess you have to experience a hospital trip like that once with all of your kids!! Thankfully ours ended well!

Swords and Shields

For Bobby and Logan's Birthday, Grandpa Bob made these really cool shields and swords made out of wood for them. They are always doing sword fights so this makes it official! Aren't they awesome. They have so much fun. Logan's sword even came with a sheath that he can wear around his waist.....to fun!!!

On Saturday the 10th we had a little get together party for Logan's 3rd Birthday. After my extravegant parties the past two years I decided to take it a little easy! Possibly because I'm 7 months pregnant! We had family and some close friends there and it was a good time. We hung out and ate some good food......Logan had a blast and got some wonderful gifts!

Bobby has every other Friday off from work and luckily he had the Friday off the week of their birthday, so he really wanted to go to the beach and surf. Not to mention Logan loves to be at the beach too. Well the surf wasn't great but he went out anyways and caught a few. Logan and I chilled on the sand and watch. Logan loved to build sand castles with Daddy, and love to find the sand hills where he could run up and jump down them. It was a beautiful day to be at the beach. It was nice and sunny and warm. We got there early so we missed the spring break crowd, which was so nice!

Birthdays all Around!

Happy Birthday to my two Boys!!! I love these two so much. It is so fun that they have the same birthday! I can't believe my little baby is 3! And my oh so wonderful Husband turned 27!Yesterday was a nice day, even though Bobby had to go in and work on his birthday.....we still got up in the morning and i had some delicious cinnamon rolls and orange juice ready and waiting (at 5:30 in the morning!) While Bobby was at work Logan and I went to the hat with Pa and Grandma Diane. (For those of you who don't know, Pa and Diane had been taking Logan to the hat every Wednesday for the past year while I was at work, and continue to do so now. So all of the emloyees there know Logan well and they love when he comes in) So when we went on his birthday they suprised Logan and had two gifts and a gift certificate signed by all the employees there that know him! It was too cute and Logan was so excited! After that we went and Logan got to play and spend some time with his friend Andrew.

Later, when Bobby came home the one thing he wanted to do was go to the beach and with the time change and the sun being up longer, we were able to do so. It was a wonderful time and it was so beautiful out there. We love to go as a family and just hang out. Logan loves to climb on the life guard towers and as you can see from the pics below he has no fear when jumping of into his daddy's arms. We enjoyed playing in the sand and running around together. I also have a couple of pics of me pregnant. I have been so bad at taking pics this time around! So these are the first!!! I am huge! I am 31 weeks....9 to go!

All in all it was a great day...

Easter Sunday

For easter we did both of our families. First, we went to Bobby's family's house and had breakfast. We did an easter egg hunt (that involves money!) And we got majority of it.....but the eggs were not easy to find! There are too many good spots at Grandma and Grandpa Pollard's house and Garrett made sure to not make it easy! There was also a hunt with clues for all our easter baskets that Diane so graciously gave to us. We were definitely spoiled! Then the boys had a little fun with the squirt guns that came in their easter bags and after the kids enjoyed playing with the bubbles that they recieved. After that we went to my mom's home for dinner. It was very relaxing and pleasant. So much so that I was so relaxed I didn't have the energy to take more pics. It was great because my Brother Nathan is in town for spring break and it was nice to have the whole family together. The dinner was great and Kierra and Logan had fun playing together. All in all it was a wonderful easter sunday!

Easter morning we had an easter bucket full of goodies for Logan. The easter bunny left it right outside his door so when he woke up he saw it at the door. He was so excited and went straight for the candy. By the way he is a chocolate nut!

The Wednesday before easter I picked up and watched my friend Crystal's little boy Andrew. I had to pick him up from his preschool class. (This is the preschool Logan is going to in the fall) It just so happens that day they were having an easter egg hunt at the park. So Logan was able to participate with all the kids in the class. It was a funny thing to watch because Logan and Andrew didn't really want to have anything to do with the easter egg hunt, they just wanted to go over and play on the playset at the park and run all over the place. They had a lot of fun and luckily even though it looked like it was gonna rain, we finished before it started.

So I thought I would post this because my little man Logan got his first major black eye. So bad that it also had a gash too. In the morning during the week Logan and I go for walks to the park. While we were there Logan was running around and climbing up everything. I saw him slide down the big slide and then I turned my head to look at my phone. When I look back over Logan comes running to me crying saying "Mommy, Mommy I hurt myself. I bump my head." So I immediately pick him up and comfort him. I take a look at his face and didn't see anything there. So after a few minutes he stopped crying and went back to playing. From a distance I could see that his left eye looked a little funny. So I called him over and yep it was SUPER swollen and then I noticed he had blood gushing from it. So then and there we walked all the way home. I think because mommy became more concerned Logan cried more and said it hurt really bad and that it made him tired. So for those of you who know Logan well you know he likes to take off running and not look where he is going. There have been many other times when he could have received a black eye. This time he had gone down the slide, gotten off and proceed to dart over to the stairs. In doing so, he ran under the jungle gym and ran right into a pole! So here he has a black eye and a cute for a battle wound! He would not shut his eye while he was awake so I took this picture when he was asleep! You can really see the cut but the picture doesn't do the swelling or the bruising justicePoor thing!

4 years!

Well today it is officially our 4 year wedding anniversary. Time sure does fly when you are having fun. Sometimes it feels like it was just yesterday that we were looking across at eachother in the temple. Marriage is such a wonderful and special gift that has been given to us. I am so thankful for Bobby. He is a wonderful Husband, Father, priesthood holder and friend. He works so hard and has accomplished so much. I am truly blessed for the opportunity to be sealed to him. We have come a long way in our 4 years of marriage and I am sure will have so many more wonderful times to come. I love you Bobby! Thank you for giving me such a wonderful companion and a wonderful family!!! Love you tons! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!

Christmas Day

Christmas was a lot of fun. First, we woke up and opened presents. Logan just loved unwrapping all the gifts, including mine and bobby's! Then it was off to breakfast at Ma & Pa's where Bob and Diane cooked a wonderful breakfast. We then followed by opening gifts. After that we headed back to my moms house where my family was getting together to have a dinner. We all played some fun games that my mom had gotten for us to play!!! However Bobby and I didn't win too many prizes....I think it was rigged! We also opened gifts and enjoyed eachothers company! It was a wonderful time and we enjoyed every minute of it!

Christmas Eve was so much fun. We went to Bob and Diane's house and my Mom, Grandma, and two brothers also came along. We had some good dinner!!! And played a bunch of fun games. Bobby and Garrett's cousin Danny came down to see us all and dressed up like santa and everyone got to sit and ask him for something. Logan was not too excited. For some reason he is terrified to get near santa. (its kinda funny) All in all it was a good time!

Hard to see but Grandpa was holding logan and he fell asleep. All the excitement wore him out!

Halloween was a lot of fun. We went to our Ward's Halloween party and my mom's Halloween party. We also took logan out trick or treating. I decided to take on the liberty and make Logan a werewolf for halloween. At first I thought how am I gonna do that!!! But I managed to pull it off. Logan did very well with the face paint too, I was very surprised. He enjoyed walking around saying "Logans the werewolf," it was quite cute.

Back in October we went up to the Underwood Farms in Moorpark. We went to get some pumpkins to carve. Logan had a blast...he just loves all the animals. Last time we went he would not step near the ponies and this time he went on all by himself!! He also rode the train by himself too! We rode the wagon ride and Logan enjoyed pointing out everything to his daddy. We also did the maze they have there which leads to a giant mountian of hay....(we probably would have never found it but luckily we ran into someone who works there and pointed us in the right direction!) It was a lot of fun....It will be interesting to see how we do it next year with 4 month old and a 3 year old!

Exciting Updates!

So it has been awhile since I have last posted anything. So much has happened. Bobby a few months ago got a job with the City of Pasadena in the Department of Water and Power. Its is so great. THe pay is awesome, benefits are awesome, every other friday off is awesome and so much more. He is also working so hard to get a promotion as an apprentice in the next year. He is getting his A license and taking climbing school and will be taking classes. He is so amazing. Logan and I are so blessed! I'm not working full time anymore and I've cut my hours back to part time which has been great and with our exciting news I will eventually be cuttin all my hours!!! Yep We ARE EXPECTING!!!! Yes we have a little bun in the oven. We are so excited!!!! THe baby couldn't come at a better time! Logan is so excited he likes to walk around saying "Logan is the big brother" it is too cute!!! Here is what some think the babies gender:

Disney...Mickey Mouse!!!

A few weeks ago my Mom bought tickets for all of us to go and see the Disney Live show!!! Logan loved it because it had woody, buzz, jesse, tigger, mickey and donald who are some of his favorite characters. It was a lot of fun and Logan and Kierra were dancing all over the place. And now everytime logan sees a stage he says "Mickey's coming," I then feel bad and have to disappoint him by telling him that Mickey's not here today!!! He then responds "See Mickey tomorrow!" So now Logan is all hyped up on Mickey Mouse. And this saturday for Diane's birthday we are taking her to Disneyland and Logan cannot wait. He keeps saying "Go to Disneyland?", "See Mickey?" It is the cutest thing. Diane has been gone for 6 weeks so it will be fun to go and spend time there. I know logan will love it. So we went to WalMart and Logan saw the Mickey Mouse hoodie that he has on. He had to get it and when we got home he had to watch mickey mouse club house. He is a funny kid!!

This beach trip we was a random one. We had a spontaneous moment after church one day and decided to go out to the beach and just sit and enjoy it. Logan loved it and found all the sticks and shells you could find. He also climbed all three ladders on the lifeguard towers. We sat pretty close to the water and a few times the water came pretty close! All in all it was a very peaceful and relaxing evening.

Since bobby gets every other friday off he goes surfing on that friday or if he doesn't have it off he goes on Saturdays and occassionally logan and I will tag along and play at the beach...

The waves weren't too great but my awesome hubby still caught a few waves....However I am not the greatest at taking pictures!!!

Corriganville Hike

We have been trying every week to take Logan on hikes. It has been really refreshing and relaxing as well as a work out because half of the time towards the end Logan gets tired and either Bobby or I has to carry him. Logan loves being out doors and it seems that every stick and rock that he finds is something so cool to him. So on this particular hike Logan saw a drinking fountain that still had a pool of water in it so he runs over to it and we see him stop. All of a sudden he comes running over crying and we look and he has a big stinger in his finger! He had seen these bees and tried to grab one! Crazy kid! So we pulled the stinger out and what do you know 5 seconds later he doesn't even remember what happened. He took the pain like a little man. Mommy however through the rest of the hike had to ask him if he was ok!!! We enjoy the time that we get to spend together it really is nice to be out in the beautiful surroundings. It makes you appreciate the things Heavenly Father has created so much more.

Potty Training!!!!

So I have started potty training Logan, I thought it would be a rough time.....but surprisingly he is catching on really well and actually enjoys it! He has only had an accident a few times!!! At our home we have a Cars potty that goes on the toilet and he loves it, we also have a little stool that bobby made that sits in front of the toilet so he can step up. His first pee pee in the potty experience though happened at my mom's house. My sister Kellyn got a little potty for her daughter Kierra. It does all the fun stuff like makes a flush noise and sings when you pee in the potty. Well we had just gone swimming and I took Logan's shorts off (for all of you who don't know Logan thinks it is hilarious to purposely get himself to pee on the floor) so in his attempts i rushed him into the bathroom and he proceed to go to the little potty and squat facing the back of the potty (not sitting but squatting) and peeing like any other boy would pee! It was the funniest thing ever! Where did he learn that!!! Anyways it has been going well and he now know when he has to go he yells "Mommy (or Daddy) PEE PEE IN THE POTTY!" Oh its quit hilarious. Here is a funny picture I took of him in his little boy undies (not panties as I seem to keep calling them and my husband corrects me!) Hes got all the pixar movies covered when it comes to the undies.

Haircut Time!

So for all of you who know Logan you know that he has been terrified of buzzers and that is why this is his first time getting a real haircut at a shop. Normally he screams bloody murder! But this time no terridactile scream! He sat through the whole thing with at the most a wimper of "All done, get down." I think that the many toys helped distract him and also having a grandma there! Aunt Shannon's mother Debbie was so kind to fit us in and give Logan such a cute haircut!! When Logan looks in the mirror he now says "Cool Dude!"

Logan always enjoys going out to the park. And on this outing he got to go with his mommy and Grandma Diane. Diane had this extra bread so we went to the duck park and got rid of it all. It was a duck dream! Logan's favorite thing to do was to scare the ducks. He liked chasing them and then them flying away. He also kept trying to get the geese to eat out of his hand. Let me tell you those geese are not nice. They would get mad and hiss at him and every once and a while would snap at him. My little man is a ladies man that is for sure. He made friends with this cute little girl and kept telling her to "Feed the ducks!" So together they tossed some bread to the ducks. Not even 16 yet! What am I going to do!!! All in all it was a wonderful time!

Little Swimmer

We have been trying to go swimming as much as we can this summer and Logan is loving every bit of it! Let me tell you my son is a water baby, he definitely is Bobby's boy....from day one when we brought him in at 2 months old he has never feared it and now he is two and tries to scare the bigebees out of mommy. It is just a giant bathtub to him. He jumps into the pool from the side with no one to catch him and he like to dunk himself underwater. He also is pretty good at swimming with the floaties. He is catching the drift of how to swim underwater (Its pretty cute!). Anyways we have all had a blast hangin in the pool....not to mention a bit of a tan. I'm definitely getting him swimming lessons soon. the boy is an animal!!!! No fear! I better watch out by the time he is five he'll be doing back flips into the pool!!!!

So Monday was my birthday and it was quite a nice b-day.....I can't believe that I am 25. I can remember when I was 16 and I would say, "It will be crazy when I'm 25, I can't even imagine!." And BOOM here it is! On Sunday my mother'n'law Diane had all of Bobby's family and all of my family over for some BBQing and hanging out....it was a lot of fun and really chill. Just how I like it. 4th of July!

4th of July was a lot of fun we got to spend it with both sides of our families. My mom had a bbq/swim party and all the family came. Bobby's parents also came to hang out. And my Bro Nathan was able to be here (even though he was leaving the next morning). It was nice to chill out and relax. Later that night it was off to the fireworks. My mom and brothers and my niece Kierra decided to come along for the show. We sat with Bobby's family who are always a lot of fun at these things. Bobby's mom, Diane had bought all these fun light up toys that kierra and Logan were getting a kick out of. Then the fireworks started and we were so close. One of the the church buildings are right behind where they do the fireworks, so it is a front row seat and I mean front row!!! It is also very loud and Kierra got really scared and would not let my mom go....half way through she eventually fell asleep! he he Logan at first was a little startled ( I remember last year he was terrified and nearly cried through the whole thing), but then he got excited and would say "Wow", "What's that?", and "Cool!" but then towards the end when it would be between fireworks he would say "All done", "let's go home" He was quite the crack up. It was a wonderful day and we are so fortunate to be able to spend it with our families. Its was just how we wanted it to be!

Pirate Party!

So my brother Nathan came down from florida....for those of you who don't know he is up there going to school up there for special effects in movies...I'm not sure what the term is for it and i'm sure he'll correct me when he sees this, but he is doing really great and is really advanced. So much so that everyone asks him for help and he is recognized by his teachers as a top student! Awesome! Anyways he was down here for a week (being on a accelerated program where you get you bachelor degree in two years) thats all he gets.

So while he was down we tried to do as many fun things as possible. The friday, July 3rd, my mom, Nathan, Bradley, kellyn, her friend Mila, Bobby and I went to go see the Priate Show down in Brea! Let me tell ya it was tons of fun. Bradley, Kellyn, Mila, Bobby and I all got called down to do something in the show........Below is some video from that night......its quite funny!

Six guys were picked from each pirate color...Bobby was one of them! He had to take a bean bag and get four of our rows to pass it along...He had to cheer and yell and do all sorts of things to get them to move it fast. It's pretty funny! Once you got to the end he had to grab the bean bag and run down the stairs and then toss it up to the pirate who then swings across the rope. The first one to get there wins. Well Bobby definitely by far threw it to our pirate before all the others but I think so that our pirate didn't win everything he kind of piddle paddle around for the others to catch up so we ended up getting a tie...Lamo!!! Bobby totally won!

Bradley also got to go down and when they were doing the big pirate seen he got to dress up like a pirate and lug a big treasure chest of gold along with a bunch of other boys...it was quite funny...didn't get it on video, but wish I had.

This is video of Kellyn and I getting to do the raise the flag race! It was the two of us and another girl and we had to run to the treasure chests and pull out the flag and run to our stations and hoist the flags to the top. Once all three of our flags were up our pirate got to swing to the center......And YES we WON! Of course what else would you expect! We even brought home our marti gras necklace that we won or the "treasure" (that's what they called it!

Mila also got chosen and she had to hold the pirate flag and then had to toss these bean bags up to our pirate who had to swing back and forth and put them in the basket....whoever got all six in first won.....And guess what......They WON! To cool for school! I wasn't able to get the video for it but it was awesome!!!!

All in all it was a lot of fun and we enjoyed it a bunch! Oh ya and we were the awesome red team!

Last Thursday Bobby and I decided to just take the day off and take Logan up to the Santa Barbara zoo. It was so much fun and Logan had a blast seeing all the animals. He is definitely an outdoors kid. Its pretty funny because Logan loves the movie Madagascar 2 in which the lions name is Alex, the zebra's name is Marty, the giraffes name if Melman and the penguins name is Skipper. So every time we got to one of those animals he would yell the name Alex, or Melman. It was pretty funny! The elephants smelled pretty bad so every time we would go by them Logan would cry "Nose, Nose", he didn't like it either. But by far his favorite was the Lions or Alex. He didn't want to leave them. But his daddy's favorite was the Gorillas, let me tell you those things are quite scary and they were very active when we were there. They kept running as hard as they could and slamming into the door where the zoo crew comes in. And then they would proceed to pace and stare at the spectators above. It was funny but yet quite creepy! But all in all it was wonderful to spend time together. We also on the way home were able to stop and visit my aunt Lisa, which was very nice to see her. It was a good day!

Well its a belated fathers day post. That morning I let Bobby sleep in and let logan go in and wake him up. He woke up to a super clean home and some good smelling breakfast. He is such a wonderful father and he teaches Logan so many things. He is by far Logan's favorite person and he loves spending time with him. He is always there for us and supports our family to the fullest. We are so grateful to have him in our lives. We love you Bobby/Daddy!!!

A little Bit of Dirty Dancing!

A few weeks ago, Diane took me, Bobby's grandma, Aunt Shannon and my mom to go see Dirty Dancing. I hadn't seen the movie in a long time so I couldn't really remember what went on in it. I do though remember the song (which I never really liked very much....some could say I despise it) But I am happy to say I really enjoyed the show. If you are up for some sultry, hot and spicy dancing I definitely recommend. We had a lot of fun...just the girls...We also went to the famous Mel's dinner downtown...it has been around for many years. They had some good food. But most of all we really enjoyed eachothers company. Thanks Diane!!!

Mammoth Trip

So instead of going to Bridgeport, CA this year we went up to mammoth, ca. It was so beautiful up there. There was even a little snow left over for us....which Logan loved to play in. We stayed in a cabin that was right by Lake Mary. While up there we took a little side trip to Bishop, Ca for mule days....did know that there was such a big turn out but it was packed! We also took a gondola ride up to the top of the mountains which was so beautiful...I think we were like 12,000ft up!! scary!!!! I really enjoyed the time I got to spend with Bobby and Logan sometimes trips like these only bring you closer together. Logan also had a fun time with his grandparents, great grandparents, uncles and cousins. He loves being around family and having fun. It was a fun trip and we enjoyed the time we spent together.

Really I am Alive!

Sorry again for the long times in between posts. I have just been so busy!! Work and baby and family trips and church callings really take up a lot of time. But I am so grateful for buying busy and productive. Life is really good for our little Pollard family. Logan is growing so fast!!! He is getting so smart too. He can count to ten and say all his abc's and he can tell each one when written on a paper. He also know when his name is written. He can tell shapes and some colors. I can't believe it.....it seems like yesterday I was in the Hospital!!! My little man is also a wrestler and a bit of a fighter...but aren't all boys!!! He he Anyways he is doing great and growing fast. My husband Bobby is the best Husband. I love him to pieces. He really looks out for our family and is so close to Heavenly Father. I love it. He is hardworking and has a caring heart for everyone, even those who hurt him. He is the man....not to mention a hottie!!!he he Anyways our family is doing awesome....just really busy with life and hopefully I will be able to keep up on my posting a little better!!!!

A Day at the Park

So a little bit ago we took Logan to the park and we have found out that he is a little dare devil. The first thing that he went to on this huge playground was the three spiral slide. I tried to convince him that he should try the smaller ones first, but he insisted on doing the big one. He also found this little rock that you can climb and proceed to pull his dad over so he could climb it so I took this cute picture of Bobby and Logan sitting on top of the rock!

Thomas and Friends!

So last Saturday my friend Crystal got four tickets to go see Thomas and Friends live.....so logan and I went with her and her little boy Andrew.....the boys loved it....Andrew would start to shake everytime Thomas came out....and Logan would dance and sing and say choo choo......but i guess all good things can't last because in the second half of the show logan decided he didn't want to sit still anymore and proceeded to scream and cry and throw his pacifier about four seats up!!!ah ah It was still a lot of fun and the boys got a kick out of it!

Anniversary

So it was a wonderful anniversary...when I arrived home from work my wonderful husband surprised me with these beautiful flowers.....and logan with help from his grandma pollard got us a balloon a card and apple cider and some glasses....and then bobby took me to the restaurant dukes which by the way is delicious!!! and is right on the beach....it was wonderful!

3 Years!!!

We'll tomorrow is mine and Bobby's 3 year anniversary! I can't believe how fast it has gone. When I sit back and think I really have been blessed! My husband is so hard working and does so much for our family! He definitely is my rock! He is loving and caring and understanding even when I can be a brat! Growing up without the Priesthood in my home really makes me thankful and value it so much.....I am so grateful that my husband makes himself worthy to carry it. I am greatful for him taking me into the temple to be sealed as husband and wife and allowing our children to be born unto the covenant...It is such a blessing. I am greatful for bobby helping me with having our son and raising him with good values. Logan has such a sweet and caring spirit just like his father. Most of all I'm am grateful for the person he helps me to be...a better mother, wife, friend and daughter of our Heavenly father...I love you Bobby! Thank you for being a wonderful husband and Father. You make me a better person. Happy Anniversary!!!!

So this saturday I am going to go get my hair cut shorter! I'm so nervous the last time I cut my hair more than an inch was 3 and a half years ago...my hair is down to like my mid back! I think i'm gonna cut it to about shoulder length!!! aaahh I will put some pictures up with the results and we'll see the comments!!!!! yikes!!!

Late Christmas Update!

So Christmas was a crazy one this year...Since we live close to both families, we split both christmas eve and day with each one! Logan got so many toys and clothes I don't even know what to do with them all! Logan had a blast....both his grandma Karen and his Cousin Tay got him Cars pajamas and grandma Karen also got him a Cars robe! He was too cute and loved to show it off! We also got him a tricycle which he tries to stay on all the time!!! Bobby and I got ourselves a Wii and we got some clothes and a new Camera(Yeah, I really needed a new one!). came down from florida where he is going to school for movie special effects and he is doing awesome! For New years Eve we hung out with Wes and his very pregnant wife Nikki and we left the kids with the grandmas! Party time! WE were so excited because we were able to last until midnight...(except nikki she took like a half and hour nap but it doesn't count cuz shes pregnant!) But we all made it too see the big glowing ball drop...wasn't that exciting! he he anyways it was a fun filled Christmas and New Years holiday!

So I found this website called www.scrapbookflair.com and its awesome. It is digital scrapbooking and the have the software that you can download for free and on their website they are always adding new embelishments and backgrounds for you to use! It is totally awesome! That way you don't spend thousands on scrapbooking supplies! I also think they will print them for you too for .99 a page or you can print them yourself on good paper.....Its really easy and fun. Here are a few of the pages I started.

All Hallows Eve!

All Hallows Eve.....we went out to Wes & Nikki's home....their neighborhood had a block party so it was great for the kids to be able to run around.....Logan was a lion...a cute one I might add! I made the some of the costume and the main part I got from our old neighbor...he had a lot of fun in it! Bobby wore his skeleton shirt and I wore a mummy shirt and attempted to make my face and hair look like an old egyptian queen (not quite sure if it worked) It was fun...Grandpa pollard brought out his rubberband guns and it was a hit with everyone.

A week ago before All Hallows Eve...Bobby, Logan and I went to the pumpking patch with...Grandpa & Grandma Pollard...Wes, Nikki & Tay....Logan had so much fun. He loved the train ride they had that went through a field of sunflowers (eventhough the heat killed most of them) they also had all these scarecrows that had been made over the years...it was really cute. Logan also loved the animals...he gets a kick out of them. Then logan and daddy found the perfect little pumpkin for logan (little did we know that like in one day the pumpkin would practically melt and get all mushy and gross!) But it was a fun time...I think logan and Taylor always have a good time together.
